The Guild Adventurer #2 ransom is now over. 82 pledges were received, which was short of the 100-pledge target, but The Guild Companion will be publishing the second issue of The Guild Adventurer. Now it is just a matter of waiting for the layout and final approval to be done. Stay tuned!
As mentioned previously, I’ve got an Adventure in this issue, it’s the first paid work that I’ve done for an RPG game, so I’m extremely pleased to hear that it is going to get published.

The December Guild Companion has been posted for awhile now, and amoung other interesting articles, it contains an article that I wrote for playing Dolphins as Player Characters in HARP, admittedly an odd notion, but a GM could also use it as a method of creating some interesting NPC’s for characters that might be adventuring on or under the oceans

If anyone has been trying to get to my Brent’ Basement (www.ob1knorrb.com) site recently, you’ve probably just gotten an error message. Some lovely soul posted a direct link to one of my humor pages (The “I look like my Dog” page) and managed to blow out the rather limited bandwidth that I have there. So, I’ve mirrored the site at a new location, www.brentsbasment.com/ob1knorrb. I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to do with the original site, especially since I haven’t been doing any updates to it. In any case, my bandwidth allowance should reset in a couple of days. I think that ultimately I’m going to move most of the content of that site either over to here, or give it a permanent home at brentsbasment.com

Todays featured site is the Nomikos Library, an excellent resource for anyone that plays in the Shadow World setting

To use the library you must register at the site and be logged in and in order to register you must show proof of ownership of one of the 4 editions of the Shadow World Master Atlas. Nomikos is intended for Shadow World Gamemasters.

Nomikos Library is a not only a searchable Master Timeline for Shadow World, it is also a central repository of scholarly writings and notes from any fragment of Shadow World. You can sort by region or group and search by keyword but in the near future many more options for searching and sorting will be available.
